I missed some of tonight's season premiere of The Amazing Race, but saw enough to know that I think I am going to like the family edition. I know my daughters will love it. I think the fact that the teams are four, rather than two people, makes for some fun banter, too. The siblings were especially amusing to me. When the one brother told his sister she was only to speak when being spoken to, I felt right at home. Siblings are so much fun!
Viking Pundit is back on the job with a first rate update.
Terrific episode; keep your eye on Team Gaghan. They'll have a tough time with two kids, but they may just be the best sprinters. And the little girl has an amazingly competitive spirit.
The Paolo family cracked me up; I knew so many families like that growing up but I imagine there are a lot fewer of them around these days (not many first generation Italian families anymore).

I liked the siblings' banter too. Especially when the brother driving took a shot at his sister and said, "We're not supportive of each other." And the sister shot back instantly with, "And we don't listen to each other either." Took me back...
